Description

Imbil is a town in the Wide Bay–Burnett region of Queensland, Australia. Imbil is located in the Gympie Region local government area and in the Mary River valley, 160 kilometres north of the state capital, Brisbane. At the 2011 census, Imbil had a population of 942. The area is known to be surrounded by thick forests that serve as the track for the annual three-day Asia Pacific Rally Championship.
