Hadfield is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 13 km north of Melbourne's central business district. Its local government area is the City of Moreland. At the 2011 Census, Hadfield had a population of 5,366. The median age of people in Hadfield was 39 years. Major features of the area include the Fawkner Crematorium and Memorial Park, the West Street Shopping Centre and the Merlynston Creek. Public Transport is provided by the Upfield railway line as well as the Craigieburn railway line. There are also bus routes serving the suburb. There are several small shopping districts that fall within Hadfield, the most prominent being on West Street, with others on South Street, North Street and East Street.
